Spicy Green Beans


300g Green beans cut in half,

1 Onion chopped,

1tsp Cumin Seeds,

1/2 tsp onion seed,

2 dry chillies,

few curry leaves,

1tsp kashmiri chilli powder,

1/2 tsp mango powder,

1tsp coriander powder,

1/2 tsp turmeric,

2green chillies chopped,

1 Tomato chopped,

salt to taste

quarter cup of water

1tbsp oil.


1. Heat oil in Pan add cumin seeds, onion seeds and dried chillies,leave for 30 to 40 seconds.

2. Add chopped onions cook till soft and golden brown,

3. Add Curry leaves fry for a minute, then add powdered spices and green chilli, tomato and mix well cook till tomato is soft and mushy and oil is separating.

4. Add green beans mix well add little water and cover with lid and cook for about 10 to 15 minutes till beans are cooked check for salt .
