Aloo Methi By Tracey Ramseebaluck

Aloo methi


1onion chopped

2 Cups Fresh Methi leaves

3 or 4 Potatoes cut in chunks and par cooked

1 Tomato chopped

1tsp fresh grated ginger

2 chillies chopped

1tsp cumin seeds

pinch of hing

half tsp turmeric

half tsp chilli powder

half tsp cumin powder

salt to taste

2tbsp oil

1tbsp ghee.


1 Heat oil and ghee in pan then add cumin seeds and hing leave 30 seconds then add onions and cook till soft and golden. 2 Then add ginger ,chillies, and powdered spices cook for couple of mins. 3 Add tomatoes and cook till soft then add methi,mix and cook for 5or6 minutes . 4 add par cooked potatoes mix well cover and cook till potatoes are tender .check seasoning.
