Fish Pakoras by Mussarat Arif

Fish pakoras


2 pieces fish cut into bite sized pieces


3 fresh chilli 🌶 finely chopped

1tsp coriander powder

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp cumin seeds

1/2 tsp pomegranate powder

1/4 tsp turmeric

3/4 cup besan

3 tsp cornflour

1 tsp chilli powder

2 tsp garlic and ginger paste

1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander


1. Marinade fish for at least 2 hours.

2. Add besan and cornflour and enough water to make a batter then fry.

3. This dish can be made with ready marinaded fish from the Asian butchers just add extra seasoning if you like.
