Chicken madras


Ingredients

4 chopped chicken breasts

2 tablespoons of oil

1 teaspoon garlic and ginger paste

1 chopped onion

2 tablespoons madras powder

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoons TCCHC Kashmiri chilli powder

1 teaspoon cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

5 tablespoons tomato purée


Method


Heat pan add the oil

Add garlic and ginger paste cook for a couple minute then add the chopped onions cook till golden brown then add all the spices cook for a few minutes then add the tomato purée cook for a further 3 minutes add half a cup of water simmer for ten minutes

Add the chopped pieces of chicken

And simmer for 15 minutes with lid on pan then lid of stir and cook till the sauce thickens
