Chicken Keema By Shai Ayoub

Chicken keema recipe


1/2 cup vegetable or sunflower oil or ghee

1 large onion finely chopped

2-4 green chillies

4 green cardamoms

3 bay leafs

2 cinnamon sticks

1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

1 to 2 large tomatoes chopped

1/2 kilo chicken keema

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp turmeric

1 tsp Garam masala

1 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp kasuri methi

Salt to taste

1 potato cut into small pieces

fresh coriander


1. Heat the oil or ghee.

2. Add the onion and fry until translucent.

3. Add the green chillies, cloves, cardamoms, bay leafs and cinnamon sticks.

4. Mix and cook a few minutes

5. Add the ginger garlic each and cook a few minutes

6. Add the chopped tomato and cook a few minutes

7. Add the chicken keema

8. Add the dry spices.

9. Add the potato cut in small pieces and cook the keema until done

19. Add fresh Coriander
