Chicken Bhuna


1 baby chicken,

1 heaped tsp each of coriander, cumin, paprika powder

half tsp each of turmeric, black pepper coarse

half/1 tsp red chilli powder,

4 cloves

2 green cardamoms

pinch of dry fenugreek leaves (methi)

salt to taste,

3 garlic cloves crushed

1 inch ginger crushed

1 large onion

1-2 fresh diced tomatoes

2-3 tbs oil.


1. Fry onions till golden.

2. Add chicken then cook till lightly browned.

3. Add garlic ginger cook for 2-3 mins continuously stirring on medium heat.

4. Add all spices and cook for 3 mins.

5. Add tomatoes and cook until chicken tender and oil seperates - you can add little water to ensure masala doesn't stick to bottom of pan, finally finish of with fresh green chillies and fresh coriander - serve with roti Bagheera Paan
